All Hiiumaa’s bus lines, both county and long distance, are serviced by GoBus AS.
County lines are FREE throughout the county with a public transport card or a zero ticket. This is indicated on buses by a sign displayed in a visible place. Public transport cards can be purchased from bus drivers, Kärdla bus station, information desks at Selver grocery stores, Konsum grocery stores and post offices. The card costs 2 euros. If you do not have a card, you can ask the bus driver for a zero ticket. Public transport cards do not need to be personalised to use county lines.
Long-distance lines are commercial lines, which means a ticket must be purchased according to the price list. Tickets can be purchased at www.gobus.ee/pilet/ee, from bus stations and on the bus. In addition to money, you can pay for the ticket with a public transport card that has money transferred onto it. Tickets are 5% off with a personalised public transport card. Call the GoBus 24-hour helpline at +372 12012 or +372 640 4000.
